Move to a new computer

A license is bound to one machine code. When your hardware changes — a new motherboard, a new main drive, or a clean OS install on different hardware — your code stops activating. Fill this in and we re-issue it for the new machine.

  1. 1. Copy the new machine code. SnapByFace → Software Activation → Copy, on the new computer.
  2. 2. Find your order email. The address you used at checkout — that is how we match the order.
  3. 3. Submit. If the order matches and 90 days have passed since the last transfer, the new code is signed and emailed automatically. The remaining validity is carried over, never extended.

On the receipt Waffo emailed you, next to “Order”.

On the new computer: SnapByFace → Software Activation → Copy.

Only if you still have it — it helps us confirm the old seat.

Because license codes are verified offline, an old code cannot be revoked remotely. That is why transfers are rate-limited and recorded — old machine, new machine, time and order.
